STAKES AND PURPOSES


Just a few words to those who don't realise or tend to forget the importance of Bantu studies. The study of Bantu languages helps drawing the scattering of peoples during centuries, and by that it helps relating the History of that part of the african continent. it is also important for creolists. Furthermore, it is necessary to work on these languages, to describe them, to understand their phonetic, phonological, tonal and syntactical systems to bring them to a teachable level, in order to enable access to knowledge for far more people and to make it easier.
